The Sony Alpha A7R II is the top of the A7 range, offering both great stills and
video capabilities. It shares the same compact body found on the A7 II.
SENSOR
The A7R II has a 42.2 megapixel, full frame sensor and uses Sony’s BIONZ X processor.
ISO RANGE
The native ISO range is from ISO 50-102400
SHUTTER SPEED
The Alpha A7R II has a maximum shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second and will shoot
at up to 5 frames per second.
AUTOFOCUS
Autofocus has 399, phase detection, AF points.
VIEWFINDER & TOUCHSCREEN
The A7R II has an electronic viewfinder, with 100% coverage. The 3” LCD is a fixed
touchscreen.
CONNECTIVITY & STORAGE
Built in WiFi and NFC. Micro USB, HDMI type D, 3.5mm mini jacks for both microphone
and headphone input. The A7R II has a single SD card slot.
FILE TYPES
Shooting both JPEG and RAW at 14 bit.
VIDEO
Video on the A7R II is at 4K and has built in 5 axis stabilisation.
