PANASONIC LUMIX DMC- G7
OVERVIEW
The Panasonic G7 is a mirrorless camera that resembles a scaled down DSLR with many
of the controls in placements familiar to DSLR users. Borrowing some of its feature
from its big brother, the GH4, it is no surprise that the G7 offers great video capabilities.
SENSOR
The G7 has a micro four thirds sized, 16.8 megapixel sensor.
ISO RANGE
ISO range for the G7 is from ISO 100-25600.
SHUTTER SPEED
Maximum shutter speed is 1/4000th of a second but by using the G7’s electronic shutter
this goes up to 1/16000th. Shooting at 8 frames per second.
AUTOFOCUS
The G7 uses the same autofocus system found on the GH4 and has 6 AF points.
VIEWFINDER & TOUCHSCREEN
Electronic viewfinder with 2.36m dots at a 0.70x magnification. The rear has a 3”
fully articulating touchscreen.
CONNECTIVITY
USB, HDMI ports plus 3.5mm stereo microphone jack. WiFi connectivity.
FILE TYPES
JPEG and RAW for still images. MP4 and AVCHD for video files.
VIDEO
Video on the G7 can be recorded at 4K, focus peaking and zebra highlights warnings
are also included.
