NIKON D5600
OVERVIEW
Nikon’s D5600 is the latest update in the D5000 range taking over from the D5500.
The camera is aimed at photographers looking to take their first steps into DSLR
or those wanting to upgrade from the D3000 models.
SENOR
The D5600 uses the same APS-C, 24.2MP sensor found in the D5500 paired with Nikon’s
EXPEED 4 processor.
ISO RANGE
ISO range on the D5600 is ISO 100-25,600
SHUTTER SPEED
Maximum shutter speed of 1/4000th of a second and a 5 frame per second shot rate.
AUTOFOCUS
Autofocus wise the D5600 offers 39 focus points with 9 being cross type.
VIEWFINDER & TOUCHSCREEN
The optical viewfinder has a 95% coverage and the 3.2” touchscreen allows menu, playback
and basic adjustments. The screen is also fully articulating.
CONNECTIVITY
Storage media is via a single SD card slot. The D5600 has USB, HDMI and a stereo
microphone jack socket.
FILE TYPES
J-peg recording in fine, normal and basic with RAW files as 12 or 14 bit formats.
VIDEO
Video can be recorded at 1080p at 24, 25, 50 and 60 frames per second.
